US Flags and Header by the Yard

Flags and Header by the yard. Both are from a retired US flag company. 

Flags appear to be a cotton/polyester blend with a heavy starch. Flags can be tea stained and coffee dyed, the starch washes out for a softer feel. Some shrinkage when dyed and dried. Minimal fraying when hand dyed and rinsed. Can be placed in the dryer and ironed. There are 6 flags per yard. Flag size: approximately 6"w x 4"h. 

Header appears to be a polyester blend. Slight fraying, when cut and edges pulled. Header can be tea stained and coffee dyed for a faint hint of color. Can be placed in the dryer and ironed. Header size: approximately 2.5"h.

The pictured table topper was made with 9 flags and approximately 3.5 yards of header. The flags and header are easy to sew and quilt. Minimal to no fraying, some stretch, does not hold an Acorn glue baste. If pin basting, holes do not show. Approximate size: 25"w x 18 7/8"h
